ABOUT

Hi, I'm Vinícius Campos Tinoco Ribeiro, 24 and I'm an enthusiastic of computing and algorithms. I love to challenge myself developing things which involve researchs and innovative ideas. Also, I like improve my programming skills studying algorithms to solve marathon questions. At academy, my study fields are computer vision and machine learning. My main programming language to develop desktop applications, marathon algorithms and school projects is C++ and to develop web and mobile systems, usually I use Java.

RESEARCH

Development of License Plate Recognition System
Digital Metropolis Institute (IMD) - UFRN.

This project is one of the many projects from Smart Metropolis Project, that is conducted by the Metropole Digital Institute (IMD) from UFRN, in Natal-RN, Brazil, seeks for playing an important role in the deployment of human and smart cities, bringing together researchers and practitioners with both theoretical and practical expertise in fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, and Social Sciences.

In this project is developed a automatic license plates detection system, which will be used in various applications such as detecting stolen vehicles, parking lot and several other situations.

SEPTEMBER 2016 - CURRENT

Development of a Landing Protocol for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
IFRN.

Development of an innovative addressing method for the landing of unmanned aerial vehicles, capable of making it more precise and flexible, aiming to increase the applicability of this technology in the daily, regardless of location.
